Fall is just around the corner, which means sports teams and leagues are forming in Lakeland, FL! New teams are exciting, but also overwhelming and sometimes awkward. The kids are still getting to know each other, and it’s often difficult to break the ice. So what better way to get to know each other than on a pair of roller skates?
Bringing the kids outside of their comfort zone and into a hands on, interactive environment is the perfect way for them to get to know each other. They’ll feel more comfortable on the field, and we all know a cohesive team is what leads to those wins!
What can we provide to sports teams at Skate World Lakeland?
- A party setup. For group sports, we’ll treat your team bonding time as a party. We highly recommend our private party, so the teammates can also bring their siblings, parents and friends. And it’s at a great price! You’ll have the opportunity to bring your own food (excluding beverages), and have the entire rink to yourself.
- Games and prizes. Whenever a team comes in, we love to host a ton of fun games! We’ll do everything from relay races, tug of war, hula hoops, and more. If your kids love mascots, we’ll even bring them out and dance to classic songs like cupid shuffle, cha cha slide and more. We want this to be eventful as possible!
- An active experience. Especially for these young athletes, we’re always encouraging them to be on their feet and active. Why settle for a house pizza party when you could keep the athletic trend going? You can burn up to 600 calories per hour while roller skating, builds muscle and increases endurance.
