We love reminding kids in Lakeland that there’s a safe, fun place for them to cut loose and create memories. Roller-skating is a great way for families and friends to play together. It’s not just a great way to stay active and enjoy your favorite music; roller-skating also provides an opportunity to support the community, strengthen family bonds, and bring new people into the fold. If you’re looking for a fun activity to share with your church, classmates, or community, look no further than family fun at Skate World Lakeland.
Looking Back
We’ve had a lot of fun this month! October has a seemingly endless supply of national holidays to keep kids and their parents entertained. Two of our favorites are National Roller-Skating month and National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Skate World celebrated National Roller-Skating month with four weeks of free Friday skating. Every After School Skate session in October is free to kids, parents, and anyone else who wants to skate! We also relished the opportunity to support a great cause with our Pink the Rink fundraiser event earlier this month.
Moving Forward
It wouldn’t be October without some killer Halloween parties! This month we’re celebrating with two costume events: Tiny Tots Halloween and the Halloween Skate Jam and Costume Contest. Whether you’re under five or close to fifty, you can get your trick or treat on at Skate World’s holiday parties.
What’s in the Pipeline?
October was a lot of fun, but we won’t let the party end here! We have a full calendar of awesome skate events in the works. Next month you’ll learn more about:
- Christian Night on November 23rd
- Thanksgiving Break skate events – holiday hours, special skate days, and more!
- Our Frozen Snow Skate event on December 6th
