Sue Wilsman, Summer Manager
Sue Wilsman, summer manager for 6 years (starting 7th). I joined the Skate Word team of employees when Chanel was pregnant with her oldest son, Trey. As a summer manager, I get to work with the staff who have been well trained and work together all year long, as well as the new employees for the summer hours. I enjoy providing safety, a pleasant environment, and encouraging the employees to provide excellent service to their customers. I enjoy encouraging kids to overcome their fears, help them be good friends, and cheering them as they develop new skills or win some of the contests. The skate facility continues to improve in all aspects, meeting the needs of a wide variety of families, singles, teens, camps, clubs, seasoned folk, beginners, and offering a variety of party options! I have 4 grown children and many adopted at the skating rink!
Erica North
Erica North was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. She graduated from Polk State Lakeland Collegiate High School in 2015 with an AA in Liberal Arts. She will be continuing her education at USF in hopes of pursuing a career in Neuroscience. In her free time, Erica enjoys drawing, sculpting, painting, and reading. She has been featured in the Polk Museum of Art multiple times throughout her life.
Nylah “Blue” Moore
Hello my name is Nylah Moore (but some call me Blue), and I am a senior at Lakeland High School. At LHS I am a member and hold office in over 5 clubs. I am also the captain for the LHS Anchorettes dance team and have the title of homecoming queen for the 2015-16 school year. As you figured I love being involved. My hobbies are dancing, speaking, and skating (even though I’m not a pro). Working at Skate World is a great opportunity for me because of all that the job comes with. I hope to gain more responsibility, become active in many activities, and showcase all of my talents. I’m very goofy and one of a kind, and you can always count on me if you need anything. Thanks for reading about me, hopefully you enjoyed it. I am new to the staff but hope to become someone everyone grows to love and remember as that funny girl with the cool dance moves. ?
