We’re excited to welcome our newest team members to the Skate World family. Each of these skaters holds the same principles of hard work, fair play, and big fun that we strive for every day. Get to know Taylor, Eric, and Coach Joe!
Taylor McGrath
Taylor McGrath is 19 years old and the newest member of the Skate World family. She has 3 step-siblings, two brothers and a little sister. Taylor graduated high school with honors and hopefully will be on her way to college within the next few years. Taylor loves to read, watch movies and spend time with her friends and family. She is enjoying working at Skate World so far, and cannot wait to get more involved at the rink!
Eric Dixon
Eric Dixon is a full time driver while working part time at Skate World Lakeland. He is a native Floridian, born and raised in Polk County. After high school he studied at la Universidad Adventista de las Antilla in Puerto Rico for 1 year, completing the basics and all prerequisites for a degree in theological studies. He enjoys jam skating, motorcycle riding, playing basketball, and swimming, among many other things.
Coach Joe
Joseph Enthor has over 40 years experience in Artistic Roller Skating disciplines including figures, dance, and freestyle. He was a competitive skater from 1972-1975. He has coached all levels of skaters, from beginners to competitive skaters, including the 2011 National Dance Champion, the 2012 National Figure Champion, and many US Nationals Finalists. He produced a video series of basic skating skills, “Defying Gravity: Roller Skating Basics with Joe Enthor,” which continues to receive hundreds of viewers and followers on YouTube each month, and which received the RSA’s Attaway Award in 2014. He has been a skating coach at 3 skating rinks, including Depew Skating Center, which he opened and operated from 1986 to 2015, when he retired to join the Skate World team.
